JOHN BRAUN John Braun, beloved husband of Esther, passed away June 25, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 73 years. John is survived by one son, Doug and wife Marti; three step-grandchildren Peter, Kim and James; one great-grandson Ethan; daughter-in-law Kathlynn and husband Glen Funfer; one brother; four sisters and their families; and his mother Mary Braun. John was predeceased by one son Curtis, and also his father Isaak. Funeral service will be held on at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2006 at the Portage Avenue Church, 1420 Portage Avenue, with interment to follow in the Hespeler Cemetery, Niverville. Viewing will be between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 29 at the Portage Avenue Church and again at the church prior to the service.
