Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySAM ARENSON October 14, 1915 - June 21, 2006 Sam Arenson beloved husband, father and grandpa passed away at the Sharon Home on June 21, 2006. Funeral services were held on June 23 at the Shaarey Zedek Synagogue. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose who resides at the Sharon home; daughters, Merle (Claude) Casaert of Aurora, ON and Rhea (Tim) of Chilliwack, BC; grandchildren, Aaron, Michelle and Jesse. He also leaves to mourn his sister Edith Simon of Phoenix, AZ plus many relatives and friends. Sam was born in Kamsack, SK and spent his adult life in Winnipeg as a manufacturer's agent in the garment industry, where he made many long lasting friendships. He was a very successful curler. He was the skip of the Winnipeg team two years in a row in the B'nai Brith Bonspiel in 1953 and 1954. He loved all sports, especially the horses. Sam was loved by all who knew him. Family and friends were very important to him and he always made an effort to keep in touch. Thanks to everyone who cared and comforted our dad during his final days. He will be greatly missed and always loved.
