ROSALIE MORAVEC September 22, 1912 - June 28, 2006 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints. Psalm 116 Verse 15 Rosalie Moravec, beloved mother of Elsie Machovec, departed peacefully from this life at the age of 93 on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, MB. Rosalie Moravec was predeceased by her husband Vaclav, their two sons, Wallace and Bruce, all from Minitonas, MB. Also, her dear son-in-law Jim Machovec. Rosalie was also predeceased by two sisters and one brother in the Czech Republic, Natalie Nemetchek, Vera Hulkova and Vasek Tucek. Rosa's memory will always be cherished by her daughter Elsie, grandchildren Karen and Rod (Jennifer) Machovec, great-grandchildren Katarina and Natasha. She will also be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Violet Marovec and other members of our extended families. A huge bouquet goes out to the caregivers at Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home, those of you who took genuine interest in our mother's welfare these last fourteen years, especially to Dr. Kotecha and Sita for your constant, compassionate care. Rosalie Moravec will be tenderly laid to rest at a graveside service held on Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in the section of prayer. Special music will be sung by Mary Anne Taylor. Chaplin Paul Brown of Heritage Lodge and Pastor Bruce Logan of Calvary Temple officiating. Following the service family and friends are invited to Good New Mennonite Church, 2764 Ness Ave. for a time of fellowship and refreshment.
