REVEREND CORNELIUS D. HARDER Cornelius D. Harder was born on February 18, 1915, the youngest son of Diedrich Harder and his second wife, Susanna (nee Wiebe). He passed away on June 30, 2006 at the age of 91 years, four months and 15 days. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay; sons, Art (Mary), Ed (Margaret); daughters, Esther Enns, Ruth (Brian) Hildebrandt; and son-in-law Henry Loewen; six grandsons, six granddaughters; 10 great-grandsons and 10 great-granddaughters. He is also survived by Kay's family, consisting of her daughter Lorraine (George) Korman; son-in-law Rudy Unrau; son Marvin Harder; daughter Jodi Gray-Harder; and daughter Meryl (Don) Matchullis and two grandsons, six granddaughters, six great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters. Cornelius is also survived by two sisters, Justina Thiessen and her husband Jacob of Altona and Agatha Loewen of Abbotsford, BC, as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention by name. He was predeceased by his parents; his beloved first wife Margaret (nee Derksen); his daughter Evelyn Loewen; his grandson Kenneth John Harder; his son-in-law Alfred Enns; his brothers, John and Diedrich; sisters, Susanna and Helena; a brother Diedrich and a sister Eva in infancy; half-sister Maria; step-daughter Jean Unrau and step-grandson Kevin Matchullis. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6 from the Morrow Gospel Church, 755 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg. Interment will follow the service at 3:45 p.m. in the Altona Cemetery, Altona, MB. Viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, Altona on Wednesday, July 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service.
