KENNETH JOSEPH POLOS April 15, 1930 July 1, 2006 Sadly, but peacefully, on July 1, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre with love we said goodbye to a husband of 55 years to Elsie, a father to Warren (Ianna), Cheryl, Carla, and a grandfather to Ian. Also left to mourn his passing is his brother Ron of Toronto and his sister Marilyn. Ken was predeceased by his parents and his brother Carl. Ken was an honest man who worked hard to provide a good home for his family. He enjoyed his many hours on his front porch greeting friends and neighbors and watching life unfold before him. His wit and greetings will be sadly missed. In keeping with Ken's wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy. The family extends their thanks to all those that cared for Ken during his recent illness, especially the staff at the Health Sciences Centre. In honor of Ken's life, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
