LARRY DONALD LACOMY Larry died peacefully with his family at his bedside at Victoria General Hospital on July 2, 2006 at the age of 64 years. Larry was born and raised in Winnipeg and attended Miles Macdonell Collegiate. His parents died when he was an adolescent and he then lived with his brother Steve and sister-in-law Anne for many years. He met his wife Sita in 1974 and they had 30 loving years together until her death in 2004. Larry spent most of his working years with Obsco Beauty Supplies and the latter few years were spent with Complete - Goldwell Beauty Supplies. He enjoyed many sports, especially attending the Bomber games with his grandchildren. Larry was a loving family man and enjoyed family gatherings, social events and watching movies. He was very close to his grandchildren, Travis and Tamara. Larry had very fond memories of his vacations in Trinidad with his loving wife Sita. He was predeceased by his wife Sita; parents, Nicholas and Mary; sister Olga; brothers, Steve and Russell; and brothers-in-law, Peter, Seidle, Edrich and Lennox. Larry is survived by his daughter Susan Morin and grandchildren, Travis and Tamara; brother-in-law Tony (Susan); sisters-in-law, Anne, Bev (Lloyd), Myrna (Harry), Norma, Judy (Pedro), Delores (Winston) and Cheryl. Uncle to Deborah, Elaine, Mary-Ann, Kelly, Jennifer, Andrew, David, Dale, Luana, Dexter, Dion, Luigi, Mario, Debbie, Sterling, Michelle, Krystel, Sheldon, Natasha, Kathy, Karen, Kendal and Kurt. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry's memory to CancerCare Manitoba or a charity of your choice.
