BERT CLARENCE MCNABB May 22, 1961 - July 2, 2006 Our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend, Bert-Choo', aged 45 years , spread his wings to be with God after a courageous battle with diabetes. Bert was predeceased by his father Patrick and mother Harriet; brothers, Glen Robert, William, Hugh and Patrick; sister Nina Marjorie; nephews, Glen Tiger' Williamson and Derrek Guiboche and niece Cindy Turner. Bert leaves behind to carry on his memory, sons, Dallas and Jordon; brothers, Rod , Norris (Janine) and Pat; sisters Anne Hudson, Patricia (Herman) Turner and Mary; many special nieces, nephews, special aunt Emma Ballantyne. Bert had many special friends who will miss him dearly, including Kim McKay; special girls, Heidi Ross, Paige Larocque, McKay-Lynn Plante and all his friends and staff at the SCTC receiving home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Wake service will be held on Thursday, July 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chief Peter Beardy Memorial Hall, Grand Rapids, Manitoba with Rev. Douglas Highway officiating. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Anglican Church, Grand Rapids, Manitoba, with Steve Martin officiating.
