EDNA MAY OLNICK (OFFER) (nee MAYCOCK) April 15, 1911 - June 28, 2006 I am writing my own obituary, as there is no one left to do so. I was born April 15, 1911 to Fred and Alice Maycock at Justice, MB. I was predeceased by two baby brothers; two sisters, Lucy (2½ years), Vina (14 years); my dear daddy February 20, 1952; my dear first husband Bill Offer, July 13, 1958; our dear daughter Pat, July 4, 1959; my dear Mom, December 6, 1980; my second husband Michael Olnick, August 19, 1989. I have treasured the love I have had in my many, friends and relative friends who have kept in touch with me through the years. I could not have carried on without their love, support and care, especially Florence Hepburn, Ann Sawyer, and Hazel Brackenreed and their families. Thanks also to the Olnick family, Ruby and Nick, Henry and Muriel, Harvey and Fay Torgerson and their families. Thanks to all of you, my friends and family (too numerous to mention here) for being so good to me. Thanks to my friends at 601 Osborne Street, the nursing staff on the 9th floor of Beacon Hill Lodge, and a special thanks to my baby Ivy, the cat. I will be cremated and my ashes will be put with my Bill and Pat in St. Vital Cemetery. There will be no service. Arrangements are in care of Leatherdale Gardiner.
