Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERT OFFORD June 28, 1932 - July 6, 2006 Peacefully, with his family by his side, Bert Offord of Winnipeg passed away. He leaves to mourn his sisters, Irene (Arthur) Larson and June (George) McColm; brother Wally; brother-in-law Mel (Bev) Brandson; daughter Kelly Holmes; son Keith (Sandra); grandchildren, Holly, Evan and Sarah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews from near and far. Bert is predeceased by his wife Signy, son Ken, sister-in-law Eileen, father and namesake, Bert and mother Lorna. One of the nicest and gentlest men ever born, you would have to look far and wide to find someone to speak an unkind word about Bert. Bert had a long and diverse career in a variety of occupations, but his true devotion was to his family. Special thanks to Dr. Thorlakson, Dr. Strachan and the nursing staff of the I.C.U. - Victoria General Hospital. We love you Bert. Thanks for always being there for us! A small memorial will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
