FRANK SEWERYN November 23, 1919 July 8, 2006 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our husband and father, Frank Seweryn. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 86 while at Health Sciences Centre. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 53 years, Ruth; his daughters Margaret and Barbara; grandchildren Nicholas, Craig and Emily. Frank was born in Waclaw, Poland. He immigrated to Canada in 1945 where he met Ruth in 1953. A few years later his two daughters were born and his family complete. The last 23 years of his life he was a custodian with the Federal Government. He retired at the age of 67 and spent his time enjoying his grandchildren and tinkering around the house. Frank felt the family was the essence of life and enjoyed a close knit family relationship. His absence will be deeply felt. The family would like to express its gratitude to the staff of GD5 at Health Sciences Centre. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster, with viewing beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Polish National Cemetery, 360 McIvor Ave. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
