BURNELL WALT MURDOCK Peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2006 surrounded by his family, Burnell Murdock, aged 40 years, a beloved son, brother and uncle entered into eternal rest into the loving arms of his personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Burnell is survived by his parents, Norman and Mrylene Murdock of Fairford, MB; his brothers, Steven (Cecile), Norman (Holly); his sisters, Gloria (Rick) Lund, Ellen Jean, Cynthia (Randy) Strawa, Erin (Ken); his nephew Elton and friend Curtis Woodhouse, whom he considered as brothers; his niece Amy (Ormand), whom he considered as a sister; his nephews, Mitchell, Richard, Andrew and Ezra; his nieces, Jillian, Chelsa, Lori, Samantha, Chloe, Angel, Sabrina, Jewel, Hope and Summer; two great-nephews, Cody and Colten. Burnell was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Ellen Murdock of Fisher River, MB, his maternal grandparents Steve and Harriet Anderson of Fairford, MB. Burnell was a very special member of the Murdock family. Although beset with health problems at an early age, he strived very well in adapting to the obstacles he was faced with. He studied on the medical diagnosis and learned to be strong and not feel sorry for himself. He faced his challenges with great strength and determination. One of Burnell's passions was the love he had for plants and how he would work on them to make them bloom. He was also very helpful in keeping their home clean and in order. He loved to decorate for everyone and did special things to please his whole family. He was a loving person and especially loved to be with his nieces and nephews and do special things for them. Because of Burnell's love to clean up, he was special to his aunties and often helped them to clean their homes. A wake service will be held at the Fairford Pentecostal Church on Thursday, July 13 beginning at 7:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 14 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fairford Pentecostal Church with Pastors Lawrence Murdock and Donald Gould officiating. Interment to follow at St. Helen's cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital for the special care they bestowed upon Burnell. Also to the staff in ICU of the Grace General Hospital. Also, thanks to the medical staff of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Manitoba. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES LTD.
