MARY WYLYCHENKO (nee CHERNICHAN) June 6, 1915 July 11, 2006 Peacefully, with her family by her side, we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Baba, Sister and Auntie Mary Wylychenko at Holy Family Personal Care Home on July 11, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Mom was born on June 6, 1915 and resided in Dallas, MB most of her life and her later years in Winnipeg. She spent over 65 years in the store business in Dallas until she retired in 1995. Mom's love in her life was her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a passion for serving and being there for the people of Peguis, Fisher River, Jackhead and the community of Dallas. She enjoyed being a part of and organizing community events. Mary touched everyone with her kindness and generosity one way or another. Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 2000, father Harry in 1957, and mother Rita in 1966; also brother Michael, sisters, Kay, Lena and Ruth. Mary leaves to mourn her daughter Valeree; son Kenneth and wife Anne; five grandchildren, Venessa, Lyndon, Deena Marie, Adam and Jessica. She is also survived by one brother, William H.; and three sisters, Anne, Pauline and Nellie; also numerous nieces and nephews. Prayers will be said on Thursday, July 13, at 6:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 14, at 1:00 p.m. also at the chapel with Very Reverend Father John Melnyk officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lyndon Schreyer, Adam Wylychenko, Robert Donas, Donald Cymbalisty, Douglas Chernichan and Ronald Kolbuck. Honorary pallbearers will be all her friends from Peguis, Fisher River, Jackhead First Nations and her community of Dallas/Red Rose, MB. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation and thankfulness for the love and care given to Mom by the special people at Holy Family Nursing Home.
