Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN KATHERINA KERTCHER Lillian Kertcher passed away peacefully in her sleep July 11, 2006 at Calvary Place Personal Care Home. Lillian was born in Winnipeg April 25, 1917 and spent her formative years in the Valour Road neighbourhood. She is predeceased by her parents, Anton and Harriet Johnson; her husband Walter; and son Gilbert; brothers, Charles and Henry. She is survived by brothers, Al of Gimli, Harry of Kelowna, BC and Dick of Victoria, BC; daughter-in-law Marilyn; three grandchildren, Bob, Rick and Laura; two great-granddaughters, Emily and Zoe and many nieces and nephews. She began working at a young age and developed an exceptional talent for sales in the retail and advertising fields. She owned and operated a wool importation business for a number of years. Lillian was a long-term member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Calvary Place Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy.
