GRACE DEVRIES Surrounded by family, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear daughter and sister Grace DeVries on July 12, 2006, at the Health Sciences Centre. Born April 29, 1967, Grace is survived by her parents, Nick and Foty, five brothers, four sisters, brother and sister-in-laws and a host of nieces and nephews. Grace was an active member of Providence Church in Winnipeg on Henderson Highway. Grace will be missed by all whom she touched in one way or another. Grace was truly the definition of unconditional love and selflessness. Grace was our family's Tie that Binds , and those who knew her would stand in agreement. Her smile and mannerisms will never be forgotten and will be remembered by all who knew her. As it is written in Romans 8 vs. 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us . We would like to thank Rev. Donovan for all his support and prayers throughout our ordeal. Memorial service will be held Monday, July 17 at 1:00 p.m. at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Ave. A reception will follow immediately after the service. All are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
