PHYLLIS MARIE ANSEEUW Peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2006, Phyllis passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. She was predeceased by her husband Marcel in 1993. Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory, sons Dennis (Marie), Dave (Nancy); daughters Joy (Bob), Debbie (Bert) and Janice (Steve); her grandchildren Mary, Kevin (Sarah), Tyler, Adam, Lisa, Kees, Clifford (Jodi), Derek, Keith, Nikita, Jodie, Kellie and Mathew; great-grandchildren Austin and Connor; sisters Roma, Violet (Art), Lillian (Joe), Pat (Richard); brothers Jim (May) and Michael (Sharon), also many very dear friends. Phyllis was born on June 18, 1926 in Anola, MB to a large family of 15. Mom loved to travel in her later years which included memorable trips to Europe, Florida, Mexico and Hawaii. She especially enjoyed summers with her family and grandchildren at their places in the Whiteshell and Lake of the Woods. All her life mom was always care giving and thoughtful of others. She will be deeply missed. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of 3E wing at the Riverview Health Centre for the comfort and care they gave mom during her short stay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis's memory to the Riverview Health Center Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 830 North Drive, Winnipeg, Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment to follow.
