ANDREW DENISON STEWART STEEN Mr. Andrew Denison Stewart Steen was called Home to be with his Lord on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at the age of 50 years. Andrew's great courage, dignity and positive attitude carried him through a very difficult life and his beautiful spirit, kind and forgiving nature and his hope and faith were able to take that life and change it for the better. Everybody loved Andrew and his wonderful sense of humour and he loved them. He also loved music, cooking, family get-togethers and especially swimming and boating at Falcon Lake in Manitoba. Andrew was predeceased by his brother, James Laurie Steen Jr. and his father James Laurie Steen Sr. To cherish his memory is his mother, Doreen Steen of Vernon, BC; and his sisters, Patricia (Fred) Klotz of Vancouver, BC, Penny Steen of Nanaimo, BC, and Heather (Dr. Abe) Taves of Vernon, BC. Cremation preceded a graveside service which will be held to celebrate Andrew's life at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery on Wednesday, July 19 at 12:00 noon with Reverend Jake Klassen officiating. A reception will follow at the Vernon Alliance Church.
