CLIFFORD ALLAN HAMMOND Clifford Allan Hammond, aged 80, passed away quietly at the Riverview Health Centre, on Friday, July 14, 2006. Clifford was predeceased by his wife Patricia (nee Figsby); parents Albert and Alice and his brothers Albert and George. He is survived by his sons Albert and Roy (Edith); grandchildren, Stacey (Mel), Sherry (Rob), Lori (Brian), John and Aaron; 10 great-grandchildren; his sister Norma Hancock and numerous relatives and friends. Clifford was a Second World War veteran, serving in the Air Force. He worked for the CNR and Via Rail until his retirement. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, a loyal friend and a kind man. A private family service will be held and he will be laid to rest with his wife Patricia at Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Clifford may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON1160-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or Kidney Foundation of Canada, 730 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3M 2K8.
