JUNE ELEANOR GEVOGA It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, June, on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Lake of the Woods Hospital, Kenora, ON. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 51 years Connie; daughter Dawn (Lloyd) Lutz, son Dean, step-grandson Derek (Kari) Lutz; brother Bud (Marlene) Laventure and many friends and relatives. June was born June 15, 1930 in Winnipeg to Eleanor and Fred Laventure. She grew up in Norwood, later moving to Transcona, Dugald and the past 17 years in Minaki, ON. June was a people person and cherished many long and lasting relationships. Their door was always open and everyone welcome. Mom and Dad did much travelling over the years, but her favorite was always the trip to the casino. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 19 at 1:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. with Chaplain Paul Martin officiating. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Kenora Hospital for their great care and compassion, especially Sarah. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Lake of the Woods Hospital, Kenora, ON. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
