CYRIL BARKER July 20, 1937 - July 15, 2006 Peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital, Cyril (Muck) Barker, aged 68 years old, went to be with the Lord. Cyril was born July 20, 1937 in Hollow Water, MB. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Karl (Theressa), Anthony, Bonnie (Lloyd), Leta (Keith). His grandchildren, Storm, Jeremy, Xavier, Blade, Karley, Easton and Caleb. His sisters, Rosie (Oliver), Thelma (Norman) and his brother Bill. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Cyril was predeceased by his parents George and Ida Barker; sisters, Pearl Smith, Mildred Seymour, Hilda Laferine, Eva Bushie and Lorna Barker. Brothers, Lyle Barker, Russell Barker. Wake services were held in Hollow Water, MB at the residence of Oliver and Rosie Sinclair on Monday, July 17, Tuesday, July 18 and Wednesday July 19. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, with Rev. Nancy Bruyere and Richard Bruyere. Pallbearers will be Rene Barker, Garnet Sinclair, Larry Barker, Todd Barker, Curtis Smith, and Raymond Meade. Honorary pallbearers are all his family and friends. We would like to thank George M. Guimond Personal Care Home in Sagkeeng, MB for their care of Cyril Barker. Also, thank-you to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital who cared for him until his passing.
