Date of Passing: Jul 18, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNA MARIA FODERARO (nee RUMORE) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of a truly wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, auntie, and friend on July 18, 2006, at the young age of 42. Anna was surrounded by many family and friends as she began her peaceful and graceful journey to heaven. Anna will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Battista; children, Alaina and Justin; parents, Concetta and Giuseppe Rumore; brothers, Salvatore (Winnie) Rumore and Giovanni (Sandy) Rumore; sister Rosanne (Jay) Gross; nieces, Nicole Gross, Ashley, Jillian, and Quinn Rumore; nephews, Nick Gross and Reese Rumore; mother and father in-law Elena and Antonio Foderaro; brother-in-law Joe (Anna) Foderaro; sister-in-law Cathy (Mark) Cordileone; nephews, Anthony and Matthew Foderaro, Andrew Cordileone; as well as many numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Upon graduating from St. John's High School, Anna began working at MTS as an Operator. She made many lasting friendships and had many wonderful memories. It was during this time that she met her soul mate and partner for life, Battista. One of Anna's happiest days was when she and Battista became husband and wife forever. Three years later they celebrated the birth of their first child Alaina, followed by the birth of Justin four years later. Her commitment and dedication to family was evident when she made the decision to leave her job. Family was a passionate treasure Anna held close to her heart. Anna was a proud mother who nurtured and protected her children. Their endeavors became her passion. Mitzi and Lucky were two special pets she absolutely adored. They were treated as members of the family. A turn of events forced our loving family down an unexpected path. Anna's journey required an abundance of love, strength and spirit. These attributes were essential ingredients in confronting the challenges that lay ahead. We appreciate all the support provided by family members, friends, and the many health care professionals she met along the way. Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment to follow at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street. Anna was known for her love of animals. If desired, contributions in Anna's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1 in lieu of flowers. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Anna Marie Fodoraro. My family has been praying for her for quite some time. Unfortunately for us who are left behind, the answer to prayer was not the one we were looking for. Only Anna truly knows the Glory of the Heavenly Kingdom as she has been "promoted" to eternal bliss. I can still remember the first day of my daughter's diagnosis. Anna's valiant and courageous battle with the disease is an inspiration to us all. God bless your family, Dinesh Kashyap - Posted by: Dinesh Kashyap (Acquaintance) on: Jul 20, 2006
