RAOUL (RALPH) CARRIERE December 24, 1936 - July 18, 2006 Peacefully, on Tuesday, July 18, 2006, Raoul Carrière passed away at the Victoria General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Raoul is survived by his three sisters, Beatrice (Albert) Belliveau, Cyprienne Pelletier and Edna Carrière, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Marie-Louise, his brother-in-law Sam Pelletier and his nephew Roger Pelletier. Raoul was born and raised in St. Adolphe, MB. He worked in the construction field and from 1973 until his retirement, he was a boilermaker with Local 555. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Victoria General Hospital. Many thanks also to John Larouche, Armand and Jeannette Legault and Gaby Lemieux for their assistance during Raoul's time of need. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Gérald Michaud at the St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church in St. Adolphe, MB on Saturday, July 22 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Raoul's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation, ON109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
