RUBY MADELINE MCMILLAN (nee MANTLE) It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother and sister Ruby McMillan on July 19, 2006 at the Selkirk District General Hospital, with her daughter Agnes at her side. Mom was born in Melbourne, ON on May 1, 1934. Mom's joy was in caring for her family and providing wonderful meals and baking. Family and friends will recall birthday, anniversary and wedding cakes made with love and care. She is predeceased by husband Dugald in 1990 and brother Carman. Mom is survived by her loving daughters, Agnes and Darlene; grandson Gord Timson; brothers, Bruce, William (Patricia), Llewellyn (Sharon), Roy (Ann); sister Mary Lou; sisters-in-law Louanne, Betty; niece Margaret; extended family and family friend, Richard Buck. She will be missed by her constant companion and four-legged friend Chase . A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 22 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Clements Anglican Church, Mapleton. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, friends so wishing, may make a donation in Ruby's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3 or to the Selkirk Palliative Care Unit, Box 5000, Selkirk, MB R1A 2M2.
