Gladys was born in Surrey, England on November 1, 1918 and married Bill on December 27, 1940 in England and then immigrated to Canada as a war bride in 1944. Gladys is survived by one sister Wyn Hazelgrove; and many nieces and nephews, both in England and Canada. Gladys was a kind and gentle Mom and loved to spend time with her children and grand-children. She loved to meet her friends at Eatons for lunch and go bowling. She was a member of the Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of Streamliners. A private graveside memorial service has been held.
