JOHN ALFRED GELDER It comes with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and brother, John Alfred Gelder. John passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB, on Wednesday, July 12, 2006. John is survived by his children, Andrew Lee and JoVi Dawn Northwood (Cameron); his beloved grandchildren, Nicholas and Hannah; as well as sisters, Marion (Maurice), Janet (predeceased Brian) and Betty (Fred). In keeping with John's wishes, no formal service will be held, but it's comforting to know that he will be taken to his birthplace in Middlesbrough, England to be laid to rest with his predeceased mother, father and dearly missed sister, Olga.
