Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID WILLIAM CROUCH Peacefully with his family at his side, David William Crouch peacefully passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the age of 79. Dave was the beloved husband and life friend of Cleone. Dad will be deeply missed by his children, Gail and Dave Garrett; Kevin and Lynn; Blaine; Grant and Aprille; Brenda and Pat McNulty. Papa will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren, Melanie and Steven, Keith and Shannon, Karyn, Heather, Tami and Holly and his great-grandchildren, Shantel and Topanga. He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Grace Bailey, May Dewar (Tom), Dorothy Clark, Judy Tanner, John, Larry (Mary), Mina Blackall (Art), Jim (Jean), Diane Tessaro (Morris), Lenore Parr (Bud), Bob (Joan), Linda Parr and his in-laws, Aster Pullon, Laura and Jack Frazer and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Lizzie, sister Margaret and brother Ron. Dave was employed at the Canadian Pacific Railway starting at the age of 16 as a wiper and ending his 42 and a half year career as a locomotive engineer, retiring in 1985. His last trip was the engineer on the Via with a trip to Kenora, ON with his family on board. His most treasured years were spent at his home with Cleone at Ingolf, ON. Dave was a member of the Ingolf Campers Association and the CPR Pensioners Association. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and care to Pam and Lindsay at Concordia Hospital during his brief illness. Thank-you also is extended to the staff at Chapel Lawn for their compassion. Celebration of Dave's life will be held on Tuesday, July 25 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn. Reception to follow. If desired, donations can be made in Dave's memory to a charity of choice.
