Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS (NICK) MINISHKA October 3, 1930 July 21, 2006 Peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2006 Nicholas (Nick) Minishka passed away at the age of 75 at the Grace General Hospital. Left to cherish Nick's memory is his wife Frances of 53 years; his sister Stephanie (Eric) Goodsir of Salt Lake City, Utah; and twin sisters-in-law May (Harry) Quarton of Summerland, BC and June (Lou) McLaren of Winnipeg, and sister-in-law Irene Ostapowich of Winnipeg; and many nieces, nephews and their families. Nick and Fran celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in 2005. Nick was an avid bowler of the Red, White and Blue League and together with his wife Fran, bowled with the Buffalo Recreation League for many years. He treasured the many trophies and awards from the competitions over the years. He was also an avid golfer and enjoyed the comradeship with his golfing buddies. Nick was employed by the Fort Garry Hotel until his retirement. Fran would like to thank family and friends for all the support they provided. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Grace General Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. However, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, MB Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or to a charity of your choice.
