MABEL JANE HOLLENDER (nee CAMPBELL) Peacefully at her home, with her son Garry at her side, Mabel passed away on July 21, 2006 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her husband Albert. Besides her son, Mabel is survived by her daughter Marjorie; brothers Donald, Eddie, Gordon, Kenneth; sisters Debbie and Jean and their families. Mom was a long time member of Kildonan United Church and made many lasting friendships. She loved music, dancing, bowling and travelling across Canada, USA and overseas. The family would like to thank the staff at Home Care, especially Gemma who cared for Mom over the past eight years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Kildonan United Church, 187 Kildbride Avenue with Rev. Earl Gould officiating. Interment to follow in Old Kildonan Cemetery, 2373 Main Street. lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Mabel's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 943-6622.
