Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTERRY BANERA Unexpectedly, Thursday, July 20, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital, Terrance Michael Banera passed away suddenly. Terry was born in Winnipeg, March 18, 1951. He attended Wellington Elementary, General Wolfe, Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and Red River College. Terry was employed in the transportation industry, beginning his career with Johnston Terminals and most recently at Truck Freight International. Predeceased by his father Nicholas and brother Nick, he is survived by his beloved wife Pat of 33 years, daughter Kristina, mother Elizabeth, brother Neil (Livia), sister-in-law Anna, nephews, Tim (Sheri), Matthew (Karen), Jeff and Kevin, great-nephew Evan and numerous cousins. Terry was a collector. He loved his antiques , hunting for the next item and hanging out at his friend Glenn's shop. Other passions included golfing, jazz music, watching wrestling and football, combing the stock market page and cars, especially old ones. You could be sure when you drove up there would be two or three on the drive - all clean and shiny. Terry was a devoted husband and father to the light of his life, Kristina, and a very kind and gentle soul. We will all truly miss him. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their care and valiant efforts on Terry's behalf. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26 at St. Andrew's on the Red Church, St. Andrew's Road at River Road, St. Andrew's, MB with Rev. Ken Pawluk officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Banera, Matthew Banera, Glenn Rossong and Manfred Wolff. Flowers are gratefully declined.
