JOHN LENTOWITSCH Peacefully, with his family by his side, John Albert Lentowitsch passed away Sunday, July 23, 2006 at the age of 62. John was the beloved husband and life friend of Flora. He will be deeply missed by his children, Christine (Al), James (Kim); grandchildren, Carla (Rob), Tara (Tom), Cory (Selena), Devon, Taylor; great-grandchildren, Brooke-Lynn, Janie and Kylee; mother Anna Sapacz; sisters, Erika (Klaus), Anita (Bob); brothers, Ed, Rick (Debbie); Tante Kathe Lentowitsch and Tante Lena Lentowitsch in Germany; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Franz Lentowitsch and dad Gabriel Sapacz. Dad was born August 21, 1943 in Germany. He immigrated to Canada with his mother and two sisters in 1953. Dad worked for Eaton's as an appliance repair technician until he retired. He was a member of Legion 246 and will be remembered as Eaton John . He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. Dad's favourite place to be was at the cottage at Lester Beach surrounded by his family. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of CancerCare and all the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences on GH4. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
