MATTHEW RONALD GAUTHIER On Monday, July 24, 2006, Matthew died after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 21 years. Left with fond memories are his mother Lynne (fiancée Pat); step-father Todd; two sisters, Alison (Niko, Alyssa and Bronwyn) and Tina; one brother Colin (Maria); grandparents, Ron and Rina; and girlfriend Jenn; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Matthew was predeceased by his father Carter; and grandparents, Mildred and Martin. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, July 28 at 10:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 710 Roanoke St. with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy #1 East at Navin Rd. Matthew's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at CancerCare, Health Sciences Centre and Riverview Health Centre for all their support and care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Matthew's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Brain Tumor Research), 193 Sherbrooke St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
