Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEINARA GUDRUN LOVISA FJELDSTED JOHNSON Lovisa Johnson passed away January 16, 2006. She was born on December 10, 1915 on the family farm called Olduland to Gudmundur Fjeldsted and Jakobina Einarsdottir. She is lovingly remembered by her four children, Allan, Emily and Mike Boyko and Maryann, Sandra and Danny Yackoboski, Kerry and Donna, Chris and Flanna and Colleen and David McCracken, Elva and Robert Corbin, Timothy and Lisa, Jacqueline Corbin and Donald MacAulay. Also eight great-grand-children, Daniel, Lauren, Lisa, Daniel, Samuel, Charles, Alexander and Julianne; and her brother-in-law Ben and Arlene Van Ruiten. She was Aunt Loa to numerous nieces and nephews who were all very special to her. Lovisa was predeceased by her husband Alli; her only sister Helga (Fridrik) Finnson; and brothers, Tryggvi, Andres and Agnete, Fridrik and Jonina, Einar, Emil and Asgeir and Lovisa. Lovisa married Johannes Alexander Johnson (Alli) on October 20, 1938. They lived in Gimli. She did a lot of handwork, took painting lessons and grew African violets. She was an avid reader. Lovisa and Alli enjoyed travel, and their grandchildren brought them joy. The family thanks Dr. Jean Prenovault for his care and compassion. Also, a very special lady, Katherine who was so good and caring to our Mother. This meant a lot to Lovisa and family. A commemoration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Minerva Hall west of Gimli, Hwy # 8 and Minerva Road. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
