ROBERT HARRY ROY Peacefully on July 26, 2006 at the age of 78, Robert passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital with all his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his three sons, Edward (Cheryl), Murray (Janice), Kevin (Pat); grandson Jamie; stepgrandchildren, Michael (Sara), Melissa; two great-grandsons, Tyler and Brendan as well as many nieces and nephews. His best friend and companion his dog Rockie. He was predeceased by his wife Ida in 2000. Dad was born in Alexander, MB. He worked for the CNR and then Via Rail retiring in 1985. Dad loved to work outside and took great pride in his yard. He enjoyed family outings as he would rarely miss an opportunity to attend and also enjoyed his many trips out to Boissevain. Great thanks of appreciation for the loving care the staff at the St. Boniface Hospital's 5th floor and 2nd floor MICU gave dad. As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family service later. A celebration of Dad's life will take place at his home on Saturday, July 29 at 2:00 p.m. We welcome friends and family to come and share some memories with us.
