Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER LOUIS KELLY Peter Louis Kelly passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 27, 2006, at Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall, MB at the age of 92 years. Peter is survived by his dear wife Mary (nee Pushkar). Peter and Mary were married in Teulon, MB on June 17, 1936. Peter is also survived by sons, Michael William Kelly and John Harold Kelly. He will be missed by grandchildren, Melody Siebeneich and family of Saskatoon, SK, Patricia Pasolli and family of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Kevin Kelly of Vancouver, BC, Colin, Trent, Christine and Kimberley-Anne of England and Ronald Kelly of London, ON. Peter is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Peter was proud of his war service. He served in the Second World War from 1944 to 1947 with the Royal Signal Company. He served in Italy attached to the 1st Division, 1st Brigade. Peter was born in Teulon, MB, on August 17, 1913. After his service ended Peter was honourably discharged in Toronto and lived there with his family for a number of years. He worked for Woolworth Food Services. Peter and Mary returned to Manitoba in 1975. Peter finished his career working as a caterer for the Grace Hospital. Retirement years were spent in Teulon. A celebration of Peter's life will be held on Monday, July 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon. Patricia Baker of the Teulon United Church will conduct the service. Interment will take place at Windsor Cemetery. The family extends thanks to the staff at Rosewood Lodge for their care and attention and to Art Campbell of Teulon for his friendship and thoughtfulness to Peter.
