Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE (KAY) TEMERESKI Mother passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital on July 26, 2006 with her family by her side. Born in Winnipeg on April 5, 1912 to John and Mary Seepish, Kay was the second of nine children. She fell in love with the boy across the street Alex and they married on August 10, 1935. Together they raised their four children and in February of 1968 moved to Kamloops. Mom had a big heart and was a loving wife and mother. Baba was greatly loved by her grandchildren and was known to her great-grandchildren to whom she provided treats as Old Baba. Kay loved her bingo and card games, which she enjoyed with her friends at Desert Gardens and Pine Grove Care Centre. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Alex in 1980, her parents, six brothers and her sister Elsie. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her children, Louise (Sam Daneliuk) McGarvey, Carole (Bruce) Skinner, William (Bev) Temereski and Kathy (Gordon) Vogel; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her sister Bernice (Andrew) Prodonuk; brother-law Walter Ewanchuk and many friends. The family wishes to thank the care givers at Pine Grove Care Centre, the excellent staff in the emergency room and the chaplain at Royal Inland Hospital for the care and kindness to our mother. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukranian Catholic Parish, 109 Tranquille Rd., Kamloops, BC with Fr. Michael Bohun officiating, reception to follow. Interment will be Tuesday August 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB. The family wishes that any expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Holy Trinity Parish.
