LOUIE TOUSIGNANT Louie Tousignant of Sparwood, BC, was called to his eternal rest on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at the age of 77 years. Louis was born in Gravelbourg, SK on October 26, 1928. He is survived by his children: Leo (Doreen) of Regina, SK, Annette (John) Beno of LaLoche, SK, Paul (Phyllis) of Abbotsford, BC, Andy (Evelyn) of Winnipeg, MB, Marcel (Joanne) and Charmaine (Jason) Sparwood, of Virden, MB, and Norman of Sparwood, BC, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, five sisters and two brothers as well as numerous nieces and nephews, his children's mother Irene, and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Phillip and Sarah and his partner of 20 years Cecelia (Cil). Mass of Roman Catholic Burial will be celebrated at 2: 00 p.m., Tuesday, August 1, at St. Eugene Church, 1007 St. Mary's Road with Father Marcel Carriere celebrant. Interment will follow in the family plot at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre following the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Louie to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Cystic Fibrosis. Louie's legacy of compassion for others and his selfless generosity inspired many of the lives he touched and for this he will never be forgotten.
