My brother Duane and I used to go there to hold some Christian sevices. One time we brought a very heavy piano for a chapel they were going to build. In 1964 Harry and I went beaver trapping for a month back in the bush on a little island in a lake. We were there for a month, and caught more than 30 beaver, plus some other animals. Harry shot a moose when we first got to the trapline and that is what we lived on for food. A Christian friend flew us into the trapline in his small plane. Very cold living in the little log cabin at about 40 below zero at night. I really enjoyed being with the Cook family, and stayed at the home of Alfred Cook and his family when in Bloodvein village. Many good memories, and thankful that Harry is now in Heaven where I will see him again one day. I now live in the state of Idaho in the US. God bless any of the Cooks or others that might read this, and I would love to hear from you. In God's love, Gene Kallberg - Posted by: Gene Kallberg (Friend and brother in the LOrd) on: Oct 19, 2015
