RHODA JEAN LAVALLEE Internment service will be held for Rhoda Jean Lavallee on August 4, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Rhoda passed away on January 22, in Vernon, BC, at the age of 88 years. She is missed by her children, John Barker and Esther of Vernon, Linda Schwarz (Phil), Birtle, MB, Chris Barker (Susan), Abbotsford, BC, Gerry Barker (Brenda) of Vancouver, BC; her brother Norman Lennox of North Vancouver, BC; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John Barker, Sr.; her second husband Willy Lavallee; and her first born daughter Bett (Elizabeth) Borushynski. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Society, or a charity of choice.
