GASPARD (KASPER) WILLMAN January 30, 1939 to July 28, 2006 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Kasper, on Friday, July 28, 2006. Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Kasper will be sadly missed by his beloved wife, Wendy; daughter Colleen (Peter), son Kirk and his girl Emma. Kasper loved his grandchildren Darren and Brandy a great deal, they were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Alphie Salamandyk, Charlie (Doreen) Willman, Jules (Gertie) Willman, Jerry Willman, Margaret Petrash, Eugene (Cheryl) Willman, Pauline (Chas) Paulusma, George (Gloria) Keen, Frank (Peggy) Keen, Gloria (Paul) Carriere, Peter (Clarissa) Keen, Brian (Janine) Keen along with brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Kasper loved life to the fullest. He enjoyed walking, golfing, bowling, playing cards, horseracing, but being with his family was most treasured. Kasper was a hard worker all his life. He took great pride and joy in building custom built doors and windows for Yarrow Sash and Door for over 40 years. The family would like to extend their deepest thanks and appreciation to the 6th Floor - GD 6 Ward Nursing Staff at the Health Sciences Centre for the great care of looking after him. Kasper truly appreciated all your help. The family would also like to gratefully extend their many thanks and appreciation to Kasper's sister-in-law Karen for being there in our time of need. A celebration of Kasper's Life will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the St. Vital Legion #16, 554 St. Mary's Road. In lieu of flowers, the family request that if friends wish, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON 1160, Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9.
