HENRY OSIOWY 1921 - 2006 Peacefully on July 28, 2006 Henry Osiowy of Beausejour, MB passed away at the Beausejour Hospital. Henry was born on November 14, 1921 living in Eastdale, MB until his retirement in 1990 when he moved to Beausejour. He is survived by his sisters and families, Jean Crosby (Everett) of Oshawa, ON, Myrtle Osiowy-Thorburn of Winnipeg, Helen Oshiro of Plainsboro, NJ; nieces and nephews, Debbie Whitley (Dave), David (Janet) Crosby, Karen Smith (Chris) and their families of Oshawa, ON, Tamis Oshiro of New York City, NY and Carla Hsin (Ernie) of San Francisco, CA and cousins, Stanley and Olga Chura of Beausejour, Eve Ora of Santa Barbara, CA and Steve Chura of Port Colborne, ON, as well as a number of extended family. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Pearl (nee Chura) Osiowy; by his brothers, Joseph, Louis; and his brother-in-law Dr. George Oshiro and Walter Thorburn. A special thank you to family and friends for their unending love and support especially during his recent illness, and in particular to Stanley and Olga Chura for their ongoing care, concern and support to our family. We want to thank the entire staff of the Beausejour Hospital especially the nursing staff for their exceptional care, kindness and compassion during Henry's last six months. Our many thanks to the visiting Eucharistic Ministers from St. Mary's Church in Beausejour and the other volunteers. Prayers will be said on Thursday, August 3 at 7:30 p.m. from Russell Funeral Home, Beausejour, MB. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 4 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary's Church (corner of 3rd St. and Atlantic Ave.), Beausejour, MB with Fr. David Brabant Presiding. His cremated remains will be interred in the family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations in his memory may be made to the St. Mary's Church, Beausejour, MB R0E 0C0.
