GEORGETTE BRADBURY FEE (nee MACLEAN) It is with much sadness that her family announces the peaceful passing of their loving mother and grandmother on July 29, 2006. She was surrounded by her adored family. Our lives are forever enriched by her love, her magical personality and her unmatched strength of character. It is hard for all of us to imagine our lives without her. Mom is survived by her son George, daughter-in-law Mary Ann and three treasured granddaughters, Colleen, Erin and Laura. She was predeceased by her devoted husband of almost 60 years, Paul, on June 20, 2006, her beloved daughter Sherri in 1972 and her sister Alex Buckingham. Georgie is also survived by her sister Isabel Miles (Lou, deceased) of Winnipeg, MB, brothers, Campbell MacLean (Elsie) of Matlock, MB and Robert MacLean (Dorothy) of Sydney, BC and by her brother-in-law Phillip Fee (Barbara) of Vancouver and sister-in-law Alice Fee (George, deceased) of Burnaby plus many nieces and nephews and their families. Georgette was born on February 11, 1920, the third child to George Campbell and Jean MacLean. She enjoyed a wonderful childhood growing up with her sisters and brothers in St. Boniface, MB where her father was the Mayor for over 18 years. Georgette and Paul married on September 4, 1946 in Winnipeg. In 1947 they moved to Vancouver where their son and daughter were born. In 1955 they built their home in West Vancouver where Georgette remained living until just a few days prior to her passing. She spent her life devoted to her family and friends and especially to her granddaughters. Her home was always open to everyone and she was never happier than when it was filled with people. Georgette loved cooking, entertaining and she was a hostess extraordinaire. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 3 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Christopher's Church, 1068 Inglewood Ave., West Vancouver, BC, Archdeacon Louis Rivers officiating. A reception will follow in the Parish hall. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. We love you Mom and Grandma and we'll miss you always
