BORGE (BEN) ANDERSEN Peacefully, on Monday, July 31, 2006, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Borge (Ben) passed away. Borge was predeceased by his wife Lise. Dad will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his son Paul (Laurie) and their children, Jeff, Kim and Evan of Regina and his daughter Alice Dent (Rob) and their children Kirsten and Andrew of Winnipeg, as well as family in Denmark. Dad was a skilled craftsman who was self employed as Winnitoba Construction and B. Andersen Construction until his retirement in 1989. His business successes were many and varied, but nothing gave him more pride or pleasure than his family and friends. He enjoyed watching the grandchildren playing soccer, hockey, curling and waterskiing. Dad's other great pleasure was at Twin Beaches where friends and family gathered. Special thanks to Dr. B. Ritchie and Dr. A. Jowett for their care and compassion to both Borge and Alice, it is very much appreciated. Also, thanks to the staff from 3N at the Grace Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Remembrances may be made to CancerCare Manitoba or Winnipeg Humane Society in Borge's memory. Dad Thanks for the years you gave us For the good times that we shared. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
