JOSEPH ROBERT HOSSZU March 18, 1923 July 30, 2006 With great sadness we announce the passing of Joseph Robert Hosszu at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. Dad leaves to mourn his loving daughter Alice (Vern) Rasmussen; son Gerald (Eileen) Hyde and Lynda (Walter) Siemens; grand- daughters, Samantha, Tamara, Christine, Catherine, Memory and Kerri; grandsons, Lee and Sean; great-granddaughters, Alexus and Shae-lynn. He was predeceased by his wife Blanche in 1998 and second wife Rosa in 2006; and sons, Garry in 1982 and Calvin in 1980. Dad was born in Hungary and came to Manitoba in the 1950's where he fulfilled his career as a pipe fitter and retired in 1987 from Boise Cascade in Kenora, ON. After retirement dad and mom moved to Richer, MB where his love for country living and animals provided him with many happy years. Special thanks to the nursing staff on the rehab department at Bethesda Hospital. Cremation has taken place, a memorial service will be held Thursday, August 3rd at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1531 Pembina Hwy. Flowers are gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM 1531 Pembina Hwy 284-7500
