Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNELIESE (DENNE) RICKBORN Anneliese was born Wednesday, December 10, 1919 at Duisburg, Hamborn, Germany. She married her beloved husband Bernhard Werner Rickborn Saturday, February 14, 1942 in Duisburg, Germany. She immigrated with her two daughters to Canada, arriving September 29, 1953 at Saskatoon, SK. Their family later lived in Flin Flon, and Dauphin, until they moved to The Pas in 1958. Anneliese and Bernie purchased Kerr's Furs - Rickborn's Ltd. in 1969 where Anneliese worked as a designer and manufacturer of northern parkas, as a furrier, and a seamstress. Anneliese enjoyed many hobbies, some of which were knitting, crocheting, sewing, cooking, decorating, cross stitch, boating, swimming, singing, music, and travel. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish and the Golden Agers Club. Anneliese was a private person who enjoyed her family and friends. Anneliese passed away peacefully Friday, July 21, 2006 at her cabin at Clearwater Lake, MB, aged 86 years. She is survived by her daughters, Marlies (George) Henderson, The Pas, and Christel (LeRoy) Fox, Winnipeg; grandchildren, Richard Henderson (Natalie), The Pas, Monique Henderson, Calgary, Dale (Valerie) Fox, Sidney, BC, and Dineen (Donald) Chapman, Singapore; great-grandchildren, Robert, Brent, Jory, Taylor, Nicholas, Sidney, and Shaelagh; brother Herbert Denne, Germany; and several other relatives and friends. Anneliese was predeceased by her husband Bernhard Werner Rickborn (February 8, 1999); parents, Hubert and Marta Denne; and her sister Lene Hyshka (brother-in-law, Nick Hyshka). Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, July 27, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cathedral, The Pas, MB with Rev. Paul Bringleson presiding. Music Ministry: Jana Sehn, Tanis Asselstine and Sacred Heart Choir. Eulogy: Monique and Shaelagh. Honourary Pallbearers were Gretchen Kutzner, Lola Popovitz, Claus Speikerman, Marga Vieweg, Dina Van Dam, Frankie Milton, Kay Stait, Leona Campbell, Reinhard Penner, and all those whose lives Anneliese touched. Following the interment prayers at Lakeside Cemetery, a reception and time of fellowship was held at the Guy Hall. If friends so desire, donations may be made to The Pas Health Complex Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, P.O. Box 541, The Pas, MB R9A 1K4. Hemauer Funeral Home, The Pas, in care of arrangements.
