Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONALD BROWN Peacefully on July 29 2006, Donald Charles Brown passed away at the age of 97 years. Donald was born to Arthur and Annie Brown on August 20, 1908 in Winnipeg, MB, and was raised in Eriksdale MB. There began his love of farming which was to be his occupation for the greater part of his life. In 1934, Donald married Eva Wilcott and together they raised their family. Donald remained very active well into his retirement from farming and some of his greatest pleasures included gardening, woodworking, hunting, fishing and playing cards. Donald loved to reminisce about the early days on the farm, especially his fine team of horses. He will be remembered as a hard working, honest man with a quick sense of humour, who enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He moved to Lundar Seniors Home in 1997 and later to Rathwell, MB, and at the time of his passing was living in Tiger Hills Personal Care Home in Treherne, MB. Donald is survived and missed by his sons, Raymond and Art (Brenda); daughters, Rose (Phil) Leitold, Jean (Ron) Heroux; grand-children, Keith (Theresa), Kevin (Dawn), Michelle (Ryan), Pam, Eleanor, Richard (Evelyn), Floyd, Chad, Michael (Jodie), Rachelle (Jody), and Nicole (Jeff); also thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Gert Miller, Elsie Hill; and sister-in-law Laura Brown; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eva (in 2000); son Richard; parents, Arthur and Annie; brothers, William, Henry, George and Walter; sisters, Florence, Annie, Emily, Margaret, Julia and Beatrice. Family and friends are invited to a graveside memorial service at St. Cuthbert's Cemetery (Lily Bay North) on Friday, August 4, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Eriksdale Recreation Centre. Donald's family wishes to thank the staff at the Tiger Hill's Personal Care Home in Treherne, MB for the excellent care and kindness they gave to Donald. In lieu of flowers, donations to Friends St. Cuthbert's Trust Account would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements by: ARNASON FUNERAL HOMES LTD Ashern-Lundar 1-204-768-2072
