GILBERT OWEN FITZPATRICK VIGILANCE With deep regret our family announces the sudden passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather on July 31, 2006. Gilbert will be forever remembered by his loving family, children, Karen, Kim, Clarence, Nicole and Jacqueline; grandchildren, Douglas, Keegan, Phoniex, Kiana, Brookland and Khadejah; brothers, Leslie, Charles, Compton and Gordon; sisters, Shelia, Pam, Esme and Jacqueline; many nieces and nephews and extended family members including longtime companion, Lola and her daughter Collette. Gilbert, who had volunteered much of his time to his community, was well loved, and will be missed by many. Public viewing be held Friday, August 4 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 1531 Pembina Hwy. Memorial service will be held at the same location, Saturday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
