Date of Passing: Aug 02, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSALIA (ROSE) SCHNERCH (nee Robinson) Peacefully on August 2, 2006, with her family by her side, Rose, our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, left this world to grasp the hand of her Saviour, Jesus Christ and claim her heavenly inheritance promised to her in Baptism. Left to treasure her memory is her husband Stanley of 48 years; children, Vicky (Les), Frances (Kevin), Michael (Kathy), Robert (Liane), Mary-Anne (Gord), Laura (Craig) and Cindy (Daryl), 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Rose also leaves in her memory, sisters, Sherry and Marilyn; brothers, Frank, Wayne and Jim and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son David; and her foster parents, Victorine and Fred Forster. Rose was born on March 31, 1936, in Winnipeg and raised in Carman, MB. She joined the Air Force at an early age and was employed most of her working years in the restaurant industry. She devoted all of her time to her family and her church, teaching catechism for over 30 years and being very involved in the Catholic Women's League. After retirement, she enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo and daily visits to the mall for coffee with Stanley and their friends. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, So he closed his arms around you and whispered Come to me.' It breaks our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone, For part of us went with you on the day God called you home. The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and staff at the Health Sciences Centre in ward GD4 for all of their support and tender loving care. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church on Mountain and Andrews with Rev. Father Kevin Smith officiating. Interment and service will follow at a later date in Berlo, MB. If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
