Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY RUDOLF SCHLEGEL It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Harry Rudolf Schlegel. Peacefully on August 1, 2006 at St. Michaels Hospice in Burnaby, BC, Harry passed away at the age of 51. He leaves to mourn his passing his father Harry, his sister Elfriede (Adolf), his brothers Walter (Ila), Kurt (Pam) and Frank (Diana), also his nephews Andreas and Jeff and nieces Rhea, Melissa and Shawna. Harry was predeceased by his mother Katharina in 1980 and sister Monika in 1982. Harry was born in Sohren, Germany on May 25, 1955 coming to Canada at the age of two years. Harry lived and worked in Winnipeg until 1981 when he moved to Burnaby. At the time of his passing Harry was employed by IWA Forest Industry. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to his dear friends and co-workers who stayed by his side. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I knew Harry and his sister Monika way back in elementary school Angus McKay years ago. They were such nice kids. It's hard to believe they are no longer part of this physical world.
