ADELINE HELEN (DOLLY) GOODMAN Peacefully, following a lengthy illness, with her loving family at her side, on August 3, 2006 at Riverview Health Centre. She was born in Yorkton, SK on May 11, 1934 to Emil and Lydia Adams, the youngest of seven children (four surviving infancy), all predeceasing her. She was also predeceased by her former husband Earl Goodman. Left to cherish her memory are Dolly's children and their families, Eric, (Lucy), Erika and Alaena Goodman; Deanna, (Ryan), Lara and Jenna Einarson; Brian, (Sylvia), Brittany, and Alexandra Goodman; Cathy, (Richard), Matthew and Bradley White. In addition, numerous nieces and nephews and their families across Canada will fondly remember Aunty Dolly. Her greatest joys and loves in life were her children and grandchildren. She inspired us all to appreciate one another and understand the true gift of family. We would like to express our thanks to the staffs on the Palliative Care Units at both St. Boniface General Hospital and Riverview Health Centre for the special care Mom received in her final weeks. Celebration of Dolly's life will be held on Wednesday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In The Park . Reception to follow immediately after the service. Dolly has graciously donated her body to the U of M Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Science. Cremation and interment will follow at a future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in Dolly's memory to Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba , 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.
