WALTER EDWARD WRIGHT Peacefully on August 1, 2006 at the Eriksdale Personal Care Home, Walter Edward Wright, aged 83 years of Eriksdale, MB. Walter was born November 6, 1922 in Calgary, AB. He worked in Toronto, ON for a few years before moving to the Overton District where he farmed from 1944 - 2000. Walter joined the Army Signal Corps and served in Canada. He also worked as a telegraph operator and station agent for CNR. Walter enjoyed fishing and snowmobiling when he was younger. He leaves to mourn one brother Norman of Burlington, ON; three nephews, Tom of Burlington, ON, Don (Leslie) of Hamilton, ON and Gordon (Carol) of Elliot Lake, ON; also many friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Oswald and a sister-in-law Winnifred in 2004. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Eriksdale Cemetery with Rev. Melanie Kauppila officiating. A luncheon will follow at the Eriksdale Recreational Centre.
