FRANCISCO MARTINS Peacefully, on August 2, 2006 Francisco Martins passed away at the age of 56. Francisco leaves to mourn his loving wife Maria; daughters, Sonia (Gary) and Kathy; son Ricardo (Tamara); grandchildren, Noah, Abigail, and Dominic; his parents in Portugal, Candida and Abel; brothers, Fernando and Paulo; sisters, Gorette and Ana Maria; several nieces and nephews, and his faithful dog Simba. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, August 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 10 at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed John The 23rd, 3390 Portage Ave. with Msgr. Maurice Comeault celebrant. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. We would like to send a special thanks to CancerCare Manitoba and Palliative Care at St. Boniface General Hospital.
